Out of School Clubs

We provide breakfast clubs, after school clubs and holiday clubs. All Out of Hours Clubs form part of the Governments extended schools agenda.

Breakfast Club

Children have an hour of fun before the school day begins; indoor games and activities are provided as well as outdoor team games.  Currently our Breakfast Club is held in the Parish Centre next to the school car park.

Breakfast Club opens at 7.45am every morning and breakfast is served by Mrs Barrett between 8.00am and 8.30am.

Children can choose either hot buttered toast or jam on toast for their breakfast. We provide fruit juice or milk.

We have one hour with the children each morning and we ensure it is a relaxing and fun start to the day by offering a range of activities. The children also have access to the field (weather permitting) on a daily basis.

The younger children are then escorted by a member of staff to their appropriate classrooms.

The cost of Breakfast Club is £3.00 per session and is paid via SchoolMoney on the school app. All Breakfast Club payments are made at the time of booking via SchoolMoney. It is advised to book a week in advance to avoid disappointment.

After School Club

Children can choose to play indoors or outdoors throughout the session, there is always a planned activity available along with games, puzzles and team games.

A list of children that are attending after school club is delivered to all class teachers at the start of the everyday to ensure a smooth transition from classrooms to the after school club room, children from Nursery age up to year two are collected each afternoon by a member of staff and escorted to after school club. Year three to year six children are instructed by their class teacher to make their way down to after school club at the end of the school day.

A register is taken daily at the start of the session to ensure we know the whereabouts of each child, this is essential for the protection of children and for those children that are booked into other after school activities.

We are supplied daily with a nutritionally balanced hot meal, except on Wednesday and Fridays when there is a choice of delicious sandwiches.

We provide a safe and happy environment for the children to play and offer a variety of adult led activities throughout the course of the week. Children also have access to ipads, board games, craft activities and a homework table.

The cost of a session is £6.50 and as with breakfast club, you will need to book online via School Money.

After school club runs from 3.10pm to 5.50pm prompt and you are required to sign your children out of the register, we are unable to release any children to anyone we do not recognise unless we have been contacted by the parent arranging for another adult to collect them with a password.

Due to the increasing popularity of our out of school care clubs we would strongly advise working parents to pre-book sessions in advance to avoid any disappointment. Cancellations Policy: Cancellations made 24 hours in advance via SchoolMoney, children sent home sick from school on the day of attendance will not be charged.
